yea so I'm a slacker

Yes, it is true...this is my first time as a blogger, way exciting let me tell you. I was suprised last week to find out that I had 4 frappin' tests this week!!! So this week God wasn't able to speak to me while rock climbing, so that was dissapointing, buuuuut I WAS able to put to good use my parents tuition money by studying. God showed me a simple truth...if you don't study, there's a good chance you won't make an A...if you DO study however, there's a good chance you won't make an A either. I hope this is just my case, and I pray that proves wrong in other college students lives.

One thing I have been sincerely suprised about is a chance to go to the GRAND CANYON over spring break!!! yea, I get excited just typing the name. I've never been and I'm really excited to see God's invisible qualities through His creation like it says it Romans. The suprise came when randomly, one of my good friends informed me that she wanted me to go on the trip, and that her dad had given me 100 bucks to go! So ofecourse, I said YES! Who can pass up an opportunity to go hiking for a week in the GRAND CANYON?!?! SCORE!!!

Another sincere suprise came this last week thru a good friend that works at the Family Life Center, the same guy that got me addicted to rock climbing. There's an adventure sports camp through an organization called Josiah Adventure in Slovenia(somewhere over there in E town), and he runs all the rock climbing and trust/team building exercises of the camp for two weeks at the end of July. I haven't been able to go overseas for a year now, and I have greatly missed being a part of what God is doing outside the ol' U.S. of A. Last week my friend asked me if I would be interested helping him lead in this sports camp. I would be helping him lead various climbs and activities, while being able to build awesome relationships with local students. How awesome does this sound?!?! I love me some climbing, traveling, and meeting new people (just ask jerris about my conversation with an older lady in Kentucky...she was like 90 years old...it'll make you laugh). I definitely don't have the money for the Slovenia trip, but I know just like the GRAND CANYON trip, HE will provide some how, some way...HE always has in the past. So God definitely suprised me this last week with a few AMAZING things.

Sorry this was so late in the game...but it's true...I am a slacker...oh and if anyone wants...they can come up to Pioneer and help me work this EXCITING 1-year-olds b-day party. Good times let me tell ya.
